Dear Friends,

Fellowship is sweet when it is centered around the common love and grace of our risen Savior. God=s grace enables us to humbly forebear one another. God=s grace also helps us keep our focus centered on working together to accomplish the great mission of world evangelism through the establishment of local churches among the peoples of the world. God=s grace has so richly blessed the Baptist Bible Fellowship International and continues to bless our fellowship even unto today. As a fellowship we are most definitely unique, but we are also highly Biblical, strongly independent, and extremely passionate about Christ=s purpose. I love the Baptist Bible Fellowship and count it an honor to fellowship with some of the greatest men of God in Kansas, across the nation, and around the world.

I invite you to begin a new year of fellowship by coming to Millington Street Baptist Church on Tuesday, January 14^th. The meeting will begin at 11:00am and we will try our best to be finished before 3:00pm. We are honored to have as our guest speaker Keith Bassham, editor of the Baptist Bible Tribune. He will challenge us, and maybe even enlighten us, on the subject of our Fellowship. I do hope you will make plans to come join us. Our ladies are planning on feeding you well and there will be plenty of time to have Christ centered fellowship.

Before I close this letter, please allow me to make two appeals on behalf of the Tribune. The Baptist Bible Tribune has been called the Aface of our fellowship.@ It not only tells the story of our Fellowship but it also has a number of great articles regarding Biblical insight, current issues, Baptist history, and missionary adventures. It is operated very efficiently and remains dependent upon the support from our fellowship to underwrite its expenses.

1. Would you prayerfully consider bringing a one time love offering for the Baptist Bible Tribune to our January meeting? Whatever we raise we will give to Bro. Bassham at the conclusion of our meeting. Let’s be a blessing.

2. The February Tribune Offering will be here before we know it. As soon as you know what your church is able to give to participate in this offering, will you please let me know (620-218-0143)? Kansas usually gives just over $6,000 in the February Tribune Offering. Let=s do it again.

In closing, I pray each of you will have a very happy Christmas and a wonderful start to the New Year. Our church is praying for you all and your churches. I look forward to seeing you in 2014.

KBBF October Fellowship

Calvary Baptist Church of Beloit will be hosting the state fellowship meeting on October 14^th and 15^th.  The theme of the meeting will be based around the passage in Proverbs 22:28.  We will be having a service on Monday night at 7:00 with Bro. John Britton preaching.  We will have refreshments and fellowship after the service Monday night.  On Tuesday we will be starting at 8:00 with breakfast and the preaching will start at 9:00.  One of the Tuesday speakers will be Bro. Jerry Stout.  Harold Demoret was going to preach but he had to cancel because of a stroke he had a week ago.  As of Sunday on Sept. 23^rd, he was still in the hospital.  This was his third one in what I believe is the last year.  Please put him on your prayer list.

I have 10 rooms reserved for the 14^th in the church’s name at the Super 8.  I can only hold them till October 7^th.  To get the special rate for these rooms you will need to contact me.  I will have to make your reservation for you to get this rate.  The price for the rooms will be $55 per room.  It will be best to contact me by October 6th if you can, but definitely no later than the morning of the 7th.  For any questions please contact me at the phone numbers at the top of the page.  I will also be checking my emails, address also at the top of the page.

Dear Preachers,

I trust you will make every effort to attend our upcoming KBBF meeting.   We will serve you a delicious BBQ Lunch at straight up noon and then will be blessed by Dr. Milioni through the afternoon.

I have asked Dr. Milioni to present a session on church leadership that I know will be helpful to every Pastor and Christian worker.  After a short break, I believe it will be very beneficial for us to hear a report about BBC.  If you have not had the opportunity to hear Dr. Milioni speak or to visit with him personally, now is your chance. I am very honored that he is willing to give our Kansas Preachers a full day of his time. Our meeting should be completed by about 5:30 p.m.

Please note the Kansas State Fair is in Hutchinson during this time so hotel rooms will be extremely difficult to secure.  Our schedule for this meeting is designed to help you avoid this difficulty.

          Greetings in the name of our wonderful Saviour.  We here at Bible Baptist are experiencing the blessings of the Lord and we hope that you can say the same where you are.

April 16th Liberty Baptist, Kansas City

The April Kansas BBF meeting, will be held at Liberty Baptist Church, in Kansas City, Kansas.  Since the March meeting was held on the third Tuesday, the April meeting will also be taking place on the third Tuesday of the month, which will be April 16.

 

The meeting will start with lunch at 12:01pm.  We will eat and fellowship till 1:01pm, when we will start the meeting.  Three speakers are scheduled to speak:  Tracy Roby, Overland Park, Kansas.  Tyrone Adrian, Kansas City, Missouri.  Bruce Thomas, Wichita, Kansas.  I have also invited my sister Roxanne Adrian, to provide for us the special music.  At the end of the preaching and music, will be the business meeting.

 

Liberty Baptist Church is located at 13101 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kansas.  We are located a couple of miles west of the Kansas Speedway, and Village West, located at the intersection of I-70 and I-435.  After the meeting, if you wish to eat dinner before travelling home, Village West has many, many resturants, plus many, many shops.

     We’re looking forward to hosting the February BBFI meeting on the 10 and 11^th.   For those of you who aren’t familiar with “Cheney”  (and that would be about 6 billion peopleJ) we’re located about 25 miles West of Wichita off of HWY-400/54.  There are no Hotels in town, but if you need a place to stay Monday night, the Express Inn in Goddard is very reasonable ($62.23 including tax)  Goddard is about 5 miles West of Wichita and 15 miles East of Cheney on HWY 54.  They also offer a small continental breakfast.    The phone number there is 316-794-7692. 

    

    Our theme for the Feb. meeting will be “Focusing on Our Families”.

Ecc. 10:10 reminds us that “If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.”  We’re going to prayerfully focus on “sharpening the edge” when it comes to our marriages. We’ll begin the Monday Evening service @ 7:00 PM.  I’ve invited Dr. Tony Wheeler to share with us Monday evening.  Tony is the Faculty Chair at The Center for Strong Families in Scottsdale, Arizona and also serves as the Executive Director for the Dr. John Trent Institute for the Blessing.   He’ll be challenging us on cultivating a “blessing” in our own Marriages and Families.

   

    Our speakers Tuesday Morning will begin at 9:00 AM and will include Billy Newman, Dean Hughes, and Tim Adrian.   Lunch will be provided and any business will follow lunch.  There will be a special opportunity for the ladies to fellowship together during the business meeting.  A  breakfast will also be available Tuesday at 8:15 AM for those who want to come early for a little extra food and fellowship.   

    We look forward to seeing you and deepening old friendships while developing new ones.
